Editorial screening
Every submission is first considered by an editor, who decides whether it is suitable for further review. Manuscripts should be original work and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Methodology and reference check
Papers proceeding beyond the initial screen are reviewed using an AI academic review tool, which examines the manuscript’s methodology and the accuracy of its references. The resulting report is provided to the editors and referees as part of the peer review process.
We do not use AI tools that retain manuscripts after processing or that use manuscripts to train AI models. By submitting a manuscript to Agenda, authors consent to their manuscript being processed by an AI tool for this purpose.
Expert referees
Papers proceeding to peer review are also assessed by expert referees, who provide a clear and justified recommendation on the suitability of the manuscript for publication. Referees are encouraged to give feedback in the spirit of supporting and encouraging improvements to the work.
Decisions
Editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the journal’s editors.
